SAS2024 will have limited funds available to support the attendance of Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows from locations worldwide (IUCr funding and AOFSRR funding) where economic barriers make attendance prohibitive.
IUCr Scholarship
What is provided
Support will cover the registration fee and six-night accommodation.
What is not provided
Airline tickets, other transportation fees, and banquet tickets will not be covered.
Requirements
- Only Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows are eligible to apply.
The applicants must submit an extended abstract and one letter of recommendation from their supervisor through the SAS2024 abstract submission system.

AOFSRR scholarship
The Asia-Oceania Forum for Synchrotron Radiation Research (AOFSRR) offers two scholarship slots for students/post-doc researchers from countries in the Asia-Oceania region to attend the SAS2024 international conference hosted by NSRRC in Taipei from Nov. 3-8, 2024. Each scholarship winner could receive $1500 directly from AOFSRR.
Requirements
- Only Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows in the Asia-Oceania region are eligible to receive.
- The applicants must submit an extended abstract and one letter of recommendation from their supervisor through the SAS2024 abstract submission system.
