The Otto Kratky Prize at SAS2024 goes to the amazing Grace L. Causer—huge congratulations!
The prestigious Otto Kratky award of SAS2024, sponsored by Anton Paar GmbH (Austria), was awarded to Dr Grace L Causer from the Monash University, Clayton (Melbourne), Australia. She gave an excellent presentation of her work on the use of near-surface SANS for probing nanoscale chiral magnetic structures in thin films. The selection panel appreciated her lucid presentation of what remains a cutting-edge neutron scattering technique for elucidating exotic magnetic nanostructures in reduced dimension. Subsequently, she also addressed the comments and questions very thoughtfully.
