Tour B - Jiufen Mountain Village & Shifen Sky Lantern Half-Day Tour

Jiufen, which was rich in gold mines in the early days, has the good name of “Golden Mountain City”. Jiufen Old Street is probably the most famous attraction in town. The narrow street of Juifen Old Street, which goes along the hill, has gathered all kinds of stores. This street has most of the markets, the cafes, the shops.

Nearby Jiufen, Shifen Old Street starts at the front door of Shifen Train Station. The buildings and shops along the Old Street originally went up along the rail line, which was used by miners to transport coal. The sky lanterns that draw tourists here today were used as a signaling system for the miners. Also, the sky lantern has been used for people to pray for their wishes. You will have an opportunity to experience this on the train track: write a message, light the lantern, make a wish on the lantern and watch it fly to the sky.

Tour C - North Coast Yeliu Geopark & Keelung Half-Day Tour

Yehliu is perhaps the most famous geological park in Taiwan. It’s a cape of about 1,700 meters long formed by Datun Mountain reaching into the sea. It is part of Datun Mountain that stretches out to the sea. Weathering, marine erosion, and crustal movement through thousands of years together created the world-renowned scenery of mushroom rocks, sea caves, tofu rocks, candle rocks, and giant’s kettles. Among all, Queen’s Head is the most representative landmark and check-in attraction in Yehliu.

Keelung is a port city on the northeast coast of Taiwan. It is a popular cruise ship terminal, and many Taipei-bound goods enter Taiwan here. Keelung Tower, newly opened in late December 2023, is the Gateway of Keelung.

Keelung Night Market is located in the center of Keelung City. This is the famous Keelung Night Market, the prime tourist attraction of Keelung. The characteristic of Keelung Night Market's snacks is that vendors present all of their dishes clearly in front of customers. Many food experts praise Keelung Night Market as having "the largest variety of dishes in the whole of Taiwan".

The Lanyang Museum is all about Yilan, covering everything from the geology to flora and fauna to the original inhabitants to modern day. The first thing that strikes you is the building itself. The Lanyang museum’s architectural inspirations come from the “single-faced mountain” and rock textures of of the Northeast Coast.

Kavalan Distillery has been pioneering the art of single malt whisky in Yilan County, Taiwan, since 2005. Kavalan sources the mineral-rich meltwaters of Snow Mountain and is aged in a unique combination of intense heat and humidity together with sea and mountain breezes.

The National Center for Traditional Arts (NCFTA) was established to research and explore the possibilities of the intangible heritage of Taiwan, including traditional theater, music, crafts, dance, and folk artistry.
